CD Projekt Red has released a new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which it's calling the "Epic Trailer." It provides an overview of the game's major developments this year, which included its launch in May, its free DLC campaign, and most recently, the launch of the paid expansion Hearts of Stone in October.
Looking ahead, CD Projekt Red will launch the meatier Blood and Wine expansion in 2016. It is expected to deliver around 20 hours of new gameplay, compared to around 10 hours for Hearts of Stone.
The Witcher 3, which cost about $81 million to develop, sold 6 million copies in six weeks. It's the last game to feature Geralt as its hero, but not necessarily the final game in the series. A Witcher movie is coming in 2017, while CD Projekt Red is now focusing its efforts on Cyberpunk 2077.
In other Witcher 3 news, the game has been nominated for Game of the Year at next week's The Game Awards. The RPG led all others with seven total nominations across a variety of categories.
